Amanda did our elopement photos and we were absolutely blown away by them. It was a rainy, chilly day in September. I spent most of the day worrying about how the rain could ruin our day. We chose Chilliwack Lake as our location, as we'd been there before and thought it was beautiful (we're from out of province). We wanted a photographer who knew the area and was local.

My worries about the weather were laid to rest when I saw how enthusiastic Amanda was about taking photos in the rain with us. Her positive attitude helped me relax, and once I took off my heels and got my feet all sandy, I knew this was the most perfect day, and the drizzle and mist only added to the beauty of it.

Amanda had an amazing eye for picking some of the most jaw-dropping backgrounds and she even brought with her some lanterns and a large, clear umbrella - both of which were functional/beautiful props to elevate our photos.

Our family and friends could not stop gushing about our elopement photos. My mom and sister said the slideshow made them feel like they were right there with us, watching from the forest. My Grandmother said it looked like a movie set or magazine. Everyone agreed they were some of the most stunning, dramatic wedding photos ever.

We highly recommend Amanda, for all your photo shoot needs, she only delivers stellar work!

We met her originally when she was photographing my friends wedding and instantly knew she was the one me and my husband needed for our special day. Amanda was literally the PERFECT photographer and person for our wedding day. She is brilliant, talented, warm and funny, and has such a gift for putting her clients at ease and making sure they are present in the moment!

She is so knowledgeable and was there for us well before our wedding day. She’s so communicative and professional, made time to answer tons of questions leading up to our wedding day, and made invaluable suggestions to ensure we got all the shots we dreamed of!

During the wedding day, working with Amanda felt like we had a good friend and cheerleader with us throughout the day. She was always the first one there if on of us needed something, but also managed to disappear into the background and quietly capture moments throughout the day without us even noticing she was there.

She is a wildly talented photographer, and made time to capture moments we didn’t even think of, but that she knew would be important to us (like getting our dog ready with his “best boy” bowtie, or coordinating group shots of all our guests). We haven't stopped talking about (or looking at) the incredible the photos she’s taken, and our guests have all asked who our photographer as because they were blown away too!

Beyond photography, she was also truly the best hype person, family wrangler, bouquet carrier, comedian we could’ve asked for, and all our friends and family adored her too. She made two people who weren't used to getting their photos taken so comfortable and excited for our photoshoots this entire year! We truly couldn’t imagine the day without her — and we are already excited for the next time we can work with her!
