I thought it was so cool when Amanda told me she was having her wedding at Steamworks in Vancouver! I didn't even know you could get married there. I had only been their prior to enjoy dinner and drinks and friends... but what a cool spot to tie the knot! This Steamworks wedding had a stunning ceremony infront of the vast window which overlooks the waterfront. To suit their laid back personalties, David & Amanda had a private first look prior to their ceremony. It was relaxed, intimate and so special. Their relaxed personalities were further shown when their wedding party showed up with mismatched wedding attire, handmade bouquets and nothing but big smiles. Since they had the rustic Steamworks Brew Pub as their venue, we wandered around the Vancouver waterfront, Waterfront Station and Gastown to capture their portraits prior to their ceremony! Their reception consisted of cocktails, appies, laughs & more hugs and dancing than I've ever seen at one wedding. It was less like a wedding & more like a party with friends. It was one of a kind for sure!
Amanda wore an absolutely stunning gown and had her hair & makeup styled by one of my personal favourites, Caitlin J Makeup.
