Golden Ears Park Styled Wedding Photography | Maple Ridge
This past summer, in the midst of wedding season chaos, I was itching to slow down and do something creative for myself, with only my expectations in mind. On a gorgeous summer evening at Golden Ears Provincial Park in Maple Ridge, the amazing talents of Caitlin J Makeup, Bridal Beginnings, Cassie Cakes, West Coast Heart Designs & Pure Magnolia came together to create one of my favourite shoots to date. I was VERY excited to learn that the shoot would be featured on Rocky Mountain Bride! You can view their blog post here. Chloe & Chris, who actually got engaged shortly after shooting this, made for the most perfect models. They have such a natural love and they were so fun to capture.
Pure Magnolia, a unique wedding dress store in North Vancouver lent us a simple, yet dreamy 2 piece ensemble which consisted of a long flowing tulle skirt & a long sleeved lace top that was so classic in front & just a little bit sexy in the back!
Caitlin J Makeup, a very talented hair & makeup artist in Langley, lent her talents to doll up our "bride" for the day. To keep within the theme of the shoot, she went with soft & romantic hairstyle and a dark lip.
Bridal Beginnings... Larissa is never short of blowing me away. I've worked on countless weddings with her and I am always impressed, but on this shoot, she blew me out of the water. I had a vision for a dreamy forest shoot, but I never could've pulled this off without her amazing vision. Her decor and florals were flawless.
West Coast Heart Designs made us the stunning sign that was centred under the sweetheart table. Her flawless calligraphy & adorable quote were the perfect compliment to our table.
Cassie Cakes! AAAH! I've been to about 150 weddings and I haven't seen a cake quite like that. She used bold colours, glowing gold geometric decor and floral accents to make the cake one of a kind.
Thank you so much to all you amazing ladies for bringing this shoot together. Thanks to Chloe & Chris for putting up with ALL our shenanigans and thank you so much Rocky Mountain Bride for featuring our shoot!
